It’s great that AEW is having a special Christmas edition on Christmas for the fans like the NBA, and because of it there are plenty of possibilities for spoilers as they’ve pre-recorded Rampage after Dynamite a couple of times.
Spoilers are something that’s become prevalent in the digital age, so we want to give everyone a chance to stop before they see something they’ll regret later.
This is a risk so many companies go through with phones now able to record matches, entrances, or simply type up what happens to be released at a later time.
They can’t really take away everyone’s phone, so it’s something everyone is either comfortable with already or working towards, but it can suck if it’s something we don’t want to see spoiled.
For that reason, we often avoid going online or various sites. Some, like we’re doing, gives readers plenty of time to back out before they get took far in the article.
With that in mind…
ALLEGED SPOILERS AHEAD! TURN BACK NOW
The Christmas Holiday Bash special of AEW Rampage was taped after AEW Dynamite in Greensborough, North Carolina after Dynamite went off the air.
It makes sense since the episode is being broadcast on Saturday (December 25) at 9 p.m. EST on TNT. Special thanks to wrestling_mpw for the spoilers.
It’s an impressive card, with Jungle Boy starting it off against Isiah Kassidy. Jungle Boy will win by submission and get a loud pop.
Next up, Hook will defeat Bear Bronson by submission, and Hook reportedly received a loud pop as well.
It looks like a submission special night as Kris Statlander will defeat Leyla Hirsch by submission to make it three in a row.
Will we see four submissions?
The main event will see Sammy Guevara lose his TNT Championship to Cody.
Cody will reclaim the title after reportedly hitting several moves near the end of their match, which will include a Pedigree and a handful of Cross Rhodes.
The win doesn’t seem to dampen either of them as both are reported as being over, though after three straight submission matches we can see why.
Still, we’re expecting this to be a fun match and night over all as AEW rarely fails to deliver on the action and Cody winning will keep fans talking for a while after this.
Of course, it’s important to remember things can change at any time and there’s every chance other matches are in AEW’s recorded library that could be substituted for any of these of the spoilers could simply be wrong.
What do you think about Cody getting another title run or are these spoilers wrong? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
