Andy Cohen returned to his Radio show- Radio Andy after a week of absence. He then announced on Monday December 20 that the reason for his absence was his recent test that confirmed he had been infected with Coronavirus. Speaking on the show, he pointed out that he is well recovered now.

The 53-year-old American Radio and Television Talk show host said, “I am so happy I could cry right now. I had covid. That’s why we were gone all last week. The best news is I woke up this morning to a negative PCR test.”
Andy Cohen Says He Feels Better After Battling COVID-19 Again
This is not the first time Cohen would be COVID-19 positive. He mentioned that he had just received his booster shot of the COVID-19 vaccine; hence he initially attributed all his symptoms to the side effects of the shot until it didn’t let off.
“I thought I was sick from the booster, that I was having a reaction to the booster.” Cohen explained “And then two days later, I was like, ‘Wait a minute, this is quite a big reaction.”” The TV and Radio Host also mentioned that he had been in quarantine for about 10 days.
Cohen didn’t give much details about how he felt all through the ordeal. But, in previous statements, he had explained that the “worst part of the experience” was being separated from his son, Ben. He mentioned that he could only know what his son was up to through his (Ben’s) Nanny.
All Cohen said about his recent symptoms was that “it took 10 or 11 days to work through my system, and it takes a bit to get my energy back. You go downstairs to make a piece of toast and you come back and you need to relax.” It is also said that the reason why the Radios Show Host didn’t have “strong symptoms” was the fact that he was ‘fully vaccinated.
