Connor Smith, who was best known for being on the hit dating TV show ‘Are You the One‘, has been arrested on the grounds of allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage girl.

Connor Smith, for his part, appeared on the show in 2015. As part of that reality TV show, the contestants had to try and find a suitable person to date. But as part of the entertainment, there was a mammoth 1 million-dollar prize to win.
The court documents suggest that the 31-year-old is being accused of sexual battery, as well as rape. The event was reported to have happened in Lake County, Indiana.
It is claimed that Connor had used force to make the victim undertake sexual acts, after she had gotten into his vehicle. To make matters even more horrifying, it is alleged that he had met her online despite the fact that she was 16-years-old.
After this incident in the car, it is alleged that Connor had taken her into a hotel room. Thereafter, the alleged rape had apparently occurred.
As of now, Connor is in Cook County Jail with an investigation being held to see how severe the case is going to be. And that is why, it is no surprise that the response on social media was one of outrage.
A large proportion of people called for Conor to receive the highest possible punishment in order to prevent such things from happening again.
One person on Twitter wrote: “WTF…This is sick,” while another person stated: “You sick piece of shit! I hope you burn asshole!!!!!!!”
The only thing left to do is let the investigation run its course, before people can make a full judgement on what exactly went down. But given what we have seen so far, things are not looking very good for Connor Smith at all.
