Randy Spears, who happens to be a retired porn star, has given his take on Billie Eilish’s recent critical comments in which she stated how she watched porn as an 11-year old and it was harmful.

Billie, for her part, recently spoke on how porn damaged her approach to sex given that she had preconceived notions of what to expect as a result of this experience. This was particularly damaging, given that she was exposed to it at such a young age.
At the time of the disclosure, Billie Eilish had remarked: “I think it really destroyed my brain and I feel incredibly devastated that I was exposed to so much porn. I think porn is a disgrace.”
Although it was a regret looking back, the very fact of the matter is that Billie should be commended for the manner in which she spoke out against this. In this way, she was educating her fan base on the potential dangers that pornography can cause in life.
During an interview with TMZ, Randy said: “I agree with her. When you’re this young, our brains don’t have the ability to digest that.” Nevertheless, Randy’s comments were criticised by certain subset of people.
The primary reason why he was subjected to criticism was due to the fact that he was involved in promoting pornography himself. Therefore, if he happened to be so concerned about what Billie Eilish was saying, then people were rightly asking why was he a poster boy for the industry.
And yet, it is clear that people can have a change of heart which is why Randy should be given the benefit of the doubt. In any event, Billie’s comments will make people think twice about working in the industry, as well as watching it too.
Randy added: If your brain keeps developing and you try to process that, I can see that it feels that way. She is so brave to talk about this and I applaud her for that.”
If Randy and Billie’s comments lead to more younger people avoiding pornography, then that can only be a good thing for everybody concerned about the welfare of people.
