Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon has revealed how she has been struggling with the death of director Jean-Marc Vallée.

According to reports, Jean passed away at the age of 58 just last week. And given that he was a well-renowned director across the world, his death really hit home.
Not only that, but current Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also came out to express his sadness at the news, given that Jean was one of the most iconic directors that Canada had ever produced.
And yet for Reese, she had personal experience in working with him as shown by their series together “Big Little Lies.” As such, she was feeling very emotional.
In a post to her fans on Twitter, Reese spoke on how Jean’s death has left her in mourning. She said: “My heart is broken. My friend. I love you.”
The news was very tragic indeed for the following reasons. First of all, his death had just occurred over the Christmas holidays which was the last thing that his family was expecting to hear.
As such, he left behind two children with so much to give. Secondly, reports indicated that his death had occurred suddenly as a result of a heart attack. Therefore, there was no reason to suggest that he was in poor health prior to this incident.
The response on social media was equally one of heartbreak. Large numbers of fans came out in droves to express their sorrow at the news, especially given that Jean had so many projects in the pipeline.
Naturally, it is unclear whether these are going to go ahead under the auspices of a new director, or whether they will be scrapped altogether. One person on Twitter wrote: “I am so sorry for the loss on earth of this wonderful and talented soul!
“You, Jean Marc Vallee, and everyone that knew him and also had the privilege to work with him are in my thoughts and prayers!”
Jean may no longer be here, but he has left his mark on the entertainment industry. And that is the way that the fans should continue to remember him by.
