Alec Baldwin has reportedly been left grief-stricken in the aftermath of the prop gun incident on the set of ‘Rust’ which killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
Sources Claim That Alec Baldwin Is ‘Taking Things Day By Day’
The actor, for his part, is bound to be feeling something, as shown by his recent tell-all interview with ABC News, where he was emotionally impacted by the events which caused him to break down on screen.
While his intention was to show that he was feeling remorseful, the reaction on social media was not too kind to him, with many people seeing it as a PR move.
As a result, Alec shut down one of his Twitter accounts and has decided to lean on his family for support. A source said: “[Alec] has been taking things day by day with his family.
“They are trying to keep things as normal as possible for the kids, but it’s not easy. [He] feels terrible about what happened—it’s all been a nightmare.”
If these comments are taken to be true, then it is probably wise that Alec does pay focus to his family for the following reasons. First of all, Alec and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, do have five children together.
Given that they are still far from being teenagers, they will need all the guidance that they can get at a time where the media scrutiny is at an unprecedented high.
Secondly, unlike other people who may not have Alec’s best interests at heart, his family are hardly going to desert him at a time of need.
In a prior post on social media, Alec remarked: “You [Hilaria] have given me a reason to live. Our life with our family is all I care about. Nothing else. I owe that to you.”
With family at the forefront of his mind, the actor will be able to keep himself away from the spotlight, which has so far not done him any favours with an increasing number of people feeling exacerbated by the apparent lack of remorse he has been shown.
The nature of the saga has shown that conflicting and new information is coming out on a daily basis which is why Alec should focus on the here and now.
