Tonight the issues between Adam Cole & Orange Cassidy finally come to an end. Last week, OC ended up sending the girlfriend of Cole through a table during a mixed tag team match on Dynamite. A low blow and knee strike wasn’t enough revenge, so Cole had a challenge waiting for OC. Tonight, they threw out the rule book. They threw out the rankings. It’s time for a Lights Out match. These aren’t for the faint of heart – often bloody and violent.
Danhausen Is Here, Orange Cassidy Is Serious
Orange Cassidy was as cool and collected, but broke his own sunglasses before starting a brawl. Things would quickly spill to the outside, where Cole threw OC into the barricade before going for a steel chair and pulling out Danhausen instead. Very nice, very evil. OC would hit a spinning DDT on the floor, and the crowd started a huge Danhausen chant.
Cole would set up a Panama Sunrise on the floor, but OC blocked and hit a spinebuster through the table. OC went for a punch, but Cole blocked with the ring bell before crushing the hand in the steel steps. Weapons started to flood the ring, with a trash can, a steel chain and a steel chair.
Cole tore at the face of OC, before wrapping the chain around OC and nailing the backstabber. OC fell out of the ring, and under the ring he went. He’d grab the fire extinguisher, and sprayed the face of Cole. His right hand had a major gash on it, and he’d walk into a knee drop brainbuster.
Adam Cole Takes A Fall To Close Out The Show
Cole took a brainbuster through two steel chairs, before OC blocked into the Stundog Millionaire and a Michinoku Driver through the chairs. Brandon Cutler would come to try and help, before Wheeler Yuta cancelled him out. reDRagon, Young Bucks, Best Friends and Rocky Romero would follow, before The Superkliq would nearly go for a triple superkick. OC hit Beach Break, and nailed an Orange Punch – but was unable to follow up.
Cole went for a low blow, but OC had a steel thumbtack covered cup to save himself. The lazy kicks landed, before nailing his own version of Panama Sunrise. A chain wrapped fist would threaten Cole, who fled to the back. Jerry Lynn was used as a human shield before OC was driven through a table for a two count. Tony Khan was watching the chaos that he signed off on, before they’d go back to the ramp.
Cole would block an Orange Punch by using a light, before climbing the stage for a super Panama Sunrise. OC was behind him however, and nailed a low blow, before hugging Cole, and OC hitting a Side Effect down through the stage. OC had cover, and this one was over!
