Last week, CM Punk had one of the shortest matches in AEW Dynamite’s history. He took down Shawn Spears in record time, and almost got his hands on that yellow bellied coward MJF afterwards. Now, with no one left to hide behind – CM Punk knows MJF will need to step up, and tonight at Beach Break will have a lot to say.

Two Title Matches Set – Hangman Page Ready For Texas Deathmatch

Just before this promo, we’d get confirmation that in two weeks time – Lance Archer will get his shot at the AEW World Championship. However, things are being done on his terms, and it will be a Texas Deathmatch. Hangman Page is not daunted by this, and is ready to go to hell – climb back up all seven layers, and bring all his fury towards Archer. Again, that happens two weeks from tonight, on the February 9th episode of AEW Dynamite.

Meanwhile, the AEW World Tag Team Championships are set to be defended on AEW Rampage. Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen have climbed the ranks, and now the AHFO’s greatest tag team gets a chance to become AEW World Tag Team Champions. Jurassic Express have been red hot since winning the belts, but Private Party have had upset wins in AEW – notably a win over The Young Bucks early in the history of the company.

MJF Wants To Beat CM Punk In Chicago

CM Punk hit the ring sick of talk, and dressed for a fight. He also still had the scarf that he snatched off the neck of MJF last week. There was a hope that MJF would battle for the scarf, but realised that they go for 5$ for a 12 pack on Amazon, which is as cheap as MJF’s personality. It was made in Long Island, proving it’s also made of weak material.

CM Punk is ready to kick MJF’s ass tonight in Cleveland, but he knows that the coward won’t step up. He’s beaten FTR, Wardlow & Shawn Spears. The Pinnacle has fallen to CM Punk, but MJF refuses to step up. MJF stepped out and got the crowd wound up, asking if they wanted MJF to head to the back and get his gear on and wrestle tonight.

He’s not wasting one of the biggest matches in AEW history on Cleveland, as he’d rather face CM Punk in his hometown of Chicago. CM Punk will have to wait until next week – and so will the fans. The fans think they want this match, but they don’t want the result. MJF will beat CM Punk, and bring out the true CM Punk in the process. He’ll beat him so bad he’ll leave professional wrestling again.

CM Punk didn’t leave professional wrestling in 2005, but he did in 2014 when he did not show a WWE event in Cleveland. However, MJF did make a point, and CM Punk did leave – but he came back. He came back, and now MJF gets a brush with greatness. If he’s a real man, he’ll go put on his boots with the 3 inch lifts and come get his ass kicked.

The Pinnacle Beats Down CM Punk

MJF would call in FTR & Wardlow after CM Punk says he always gets back up, with Shawn Spears attacking from behind. It was a four on one attack, with FTR holding his arms back before chair shot. Steel met the spine, and now it was Wardlows time to get his blows in. MJF would ask why CM Punk wasn’t getting up, before calling for Wardlow to hit the powerbomb.

Wardlow had a chair infront of him, and everyone was calling for it. MJF would smile as he sat on CM Punk, before saying he will end him for good next week in Chicago.

Will MJF be able to defeat CM Punk next week? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
