‘Bachelor’ host Jesse Palmer has been looking back at some of the lessons that he had experienced during his time on the show in an attempt to educate the current contestants, like Clayton Echard, about them.
Host Jesse Palmer Looks Back On The Lessons He Learnt From His Time On The Show
Prior to taking on the hosting gig, Jesse had the personal experience of being able to be on the show himself. While it has been almost two decades since that moment, he learnt some valuable lessons.
And one of them included trying to avoid as much embarrassment as possible when it comes to being a lead. In an interview with Us Weekly, Jesse spoke on some key pieces of advice and hints that he gave current lead Clayton Echard.
He said: “I do regret forgetting somebody’s name. That was the first [piece of] advice I gave Clayton, by the way, [was] do not forget anybody’s name.
“Having been there myself, I can tell you nothing good comes of that. Just lock in. And he’s done a really, really good job of that.” But aside from those slip ups, Jesse did not regret his time on the show.
After all, he has managed to become the face of the franchise by replacing former host Chris Harrison.
Although that is naturally going to bring him a lot of pressure, by virtue of the fact that there will be comparisons between him and Chris, Jesse is looking to take things in his stride.
After all, he knew the risk that he was taking. He added: “I had an unbelievable experience.
“It was obviously a huge risk to kind of step out of my comfort zone [as] a football player — to really sort of bear yourself and look for love and do it on television at the time was really sort of unique.”
As long as the ratings continue to remain stable, then Jesse will be in a prime position to write a new chapter in his life and create many more positive memories.
And that is something that he will be hoping to do going forward. Time will tell whether he does end up resonating with the public.
