Brie Bella has given fans an update on the health of her sister Nikki Bella’s fiancé, Artem Chigvintsev.

Artem, for his part, had recently declared that he would be withdrawing from the ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ tour on the grounds of his health.
Although he stated that he was working on getting himself back to his usual best, the very fact of the matter is that this worried the fanbase.
This was on the grounds that he did not discuss the reasons as to why he had decided to withdraw by not naming the medical problem. But now Brie has let the fans know exactly what went down.
In an official statement, Brie said: “He did have COVID. [It] was hard on him.” This is not a surprise, given that the initial speculation on social media was that Artem most likely did have a case of Covid.
After all, outside of any other explanation to the contrary, the pandemic has naturally resulted in people assuming the worst until proven otherwise.
But for all the worry that has been going around on social media, it looks as though Artem is on the mend. And that can only be a good thing for the fans, as well as the whole family involved. Brie stated: “He’s doing a lot better, which is so great.
“Now it’s really made him feel good seeing everyone just reaching out and thinking of him and sending their thoughts and prayers his way.” Nevertheless, it is not exactly clear when Artem would be making a return to the tour.
Although there are no expectations on him to come back anytime soon, given that it would add unnecessary pressure, there is no denying that until he makes a return there is always going to be the fear that he could be out for a while.
This was reflected in the comments that emerged on social media. A significant proportion of people lamented the fact that he was not on the show.
One person wrote: “Thinking of you Artem!! The show isn’t the same without you up there. Health is most important. Praying for fast healing for you!”
