Jodie Sweetin paid tribute to fellow Full House and Fuller House co-star Bob Saget today on Instagram. Saget passed Sunday and tributes have been coming in for the iconic TV dad and comedian.
Jodie Sweetin Pays Tribute to Bob Saget
In her caption, Sweetin goes into what the late entertainer meant to her personally and he heavily influenced her taste and music. She also went into how the two would text each other regularly. Knowing Saget well, she said that at the end of their texts Saget had to have the last word:

One thing I do know, is that we never missed a chance to tell each other, “I love you”. Every time we talked, there were at least 3 or 4 exchanged at the end of a conversation, whether it was text, phone call or in person. And he usually had to have the last word, “I love you more…”
She shared many moments on her caption which showed a loving side of the 65-year-old where he helped make Full House more of an actual family rather than a cast playing a family. These included dancing at her 13th birthday and having her over to spend the weekend with his daughters.
For years, Bob Saget was known as the wholesome, positive father Danny Tanner on Full House. While many have said that the character wasn’t too far from the person, one thing that became a shock to many over the years was that his comedy was blue or very adult in nature. Sweetin knew of Saget’s comedic stylings and even though she didn’t share the joke she’d told him, she noted that Saget was proud of her when she ‘out Bob’d’ him. She ended her tribute with the following:
I’ll miss you Bob.
I’ll make sure and tell an inappropriate joke at your funeral. In your honor. I know you would’ve wanted that.
But you were supposed to be here longer…

Prior to his death, Bob Saget was on a comedy tour and had just tweeted how great his two-hour set had gone in Jacksonville, Florida.
