The star is best known to viewers after having won the hit TV show entitled ‘The Challenge’ on numerous occasions.
And given that he was known for pushing the boundaries when it came to fitness, the last thing that people expected to hear was that he could not control his alcohol.
A source told TMZ the following: “Someone in the apartment complex called cops about a man who was allegedly stumbling around and ringing doorbells.”
Naturally, the authorities arrived to check out what was going on. And as expected, they were shocked at what they had seen. Darrell Taylor had apparently been “flat on the ground in front of one of the units.”
Although he was clearly embarrassed by it all, it is not clear what led to this event. In light of the timing, it is possible to state the following. Darrell may have simply been enjoying the New Year celebrations a bit too much.
After all, 2021 has been a very difficult time for people across the world. Regardless of the actual reason, the very fact of the matter is that he has been released after he was taken in on a charge of public intoxication.
The response on social media was one of ridicule. The primary reason was because it is claimed that Darrell had lost his bearings when he tried to get back to his hotel.
That is when he was found lying drunk on the floor. One person on Twitter wrote: “Light weight,” while another person stated: “Well…that’s “Challenging!”
The fans were very hard on Darrell Taylor as shown by the comments. But thankfully for everyone involved, there were no injuries sustained to Darrell or anyone else for that matter. After all, on another given day, it could have been a whole lot worse.
With that in mind, it is probably wise that Darrell takes more precautions when it comes to drinking. And it is safe to say that he will not be forgetting this year’s New Year celebrations anytime soon.
