‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers here and we’re set to get the week kicked off with some fun chaos and hijinks, and we have plenty of spoilery goodies to go around.
Things are going to take an interesting turn now that the devil has a stake in EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) going to prison, making this far more enjoyable than when he possessed Marlena Evans (Diedre Hall).
And as always in Salem, things are not what they appear.

Now that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) walked in on the devil disguised as EJ forcibly kissing his wife, we have a feeling he’s not going to feel so magnanimous about throwing himself on his sword for EJ.
In fact, after a brawl with Fake EJ, ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers think he’ll happily take the stand after picking another fight with the real EJ enroute to the stand, and then testify that EJ as guilty as sin and throwing away the key would be merciful.
This will get EJ all prepped and ready for the next phase of the plan to take him down when Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) takes the stand.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Monday, January 17: Lucas’ turn
If there was ever a time EJ would have an aneurism, this is it. With Lucas on the stand talking about how he rescued Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) from EJ’s vile clutches, EJ’s going to want to kill him.
We thought it’d happen on Friday, but chances are EJ will threaten to kill Lucas on Monday and there will go any hope of him getting off the hook barring a miracle.
On the plus side, he may escape and join his sister on the run as he seeks vengeance.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Monday, January 17: Johnny hits on Gabi
If there’s one thing we’re sure of, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) would chew Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) up and spit him out, but since he’s possessed he stands a fairly good chance at holding his own.
What’s going to make this really fun is Gabi will look to seduce him to get his shares since he’s a naïve kid, and that’ll lead to some fun back and forths between them later on.
When it comes down to it, it would be pretty ironic if Gabi has a hand in finally defeated the devil and Salem owes her one. But that’s a story for another day.
