Two years ago, the Duke of Sussex Prince Harry and his wife, American actress, Meghan Markle stepped away from duties as senior working royals, and the relationship went sour when they made some claims against the Royal Family in tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey that last for two hours. Prince Harry said that hoped he and Prince William could one day heal the rift between them.
Prince Harry’s Envious Outburst At Prince William, His Brother
The Duke of Sussex said: “The relationship is space at the moment and time heals all things, hopefully. My father and my brother, they are trapped. They don’t get to leave and I have huge compassion for that.”
Late Diana’s Former Staffer Reveals Prince Harry’s Envious Outburst At Prince William When They Were Kids
Referring to the death of their mother Princess Diana in 1197, he added that: “We’ve been through hell together, we have a shared experience, but we were on different paths.” However, one of Diana’s former staffers shared that William was once caught in a heated argument with Harry over the line of succession. William is the second in line to the throne.
The Princess of Wales’ long serving protection officer Mr Wharfe shared that Harry and William were once squabbling at the back of the car as they journeyed from London to Gloucester. Speaking on Channel 5 documentary ‘Prince Harry: The Troubled Prince’, Mr Wharfe revealed that: “Diana would always take the two boys to High Grove in Gloucester.
On this particular occasion Diana was driving, I was sat in the front, William and Harry in the back. They’d clearly got off to a bad start because they were arguing before we’d even left.” Mr Wharfe said that their nanny tried to settle the dispute and Harry who was four at the time, said ‘William, one day you’ll be king, I won’t, it doesn’t matter therefore I can do what I like’.
Prince Harry Had Always Wanted A Normal Life
Wharfe continued to say that, “You can take that comment two ways. “It may indicate envy if you like, that William got this great future as king. “But also there’s an element of, ‘I’m free, I’m going to choose my own role in life.’” Prince Harry has since admitted in interviews that he always wanted to live a “normal life”.
He spoke on the Apple TV+ documentary ‘The Me You Can’t See’, last year, and during his speech he said that living as part of the Firm was “puzzling”.
Prince Harry said: “I always wanted to be normal. As opposed to being Prince Harry, just being Harry. “It was a puzzling life.” The Duke then went on to admit that the “happiest time of his life” was during his 10-year spell in the armed forces, and this was because he was treated like every other person.
