‘Selling Sunset’ Star Davina Potratz Defends Christine Quinn Amid Rumours She Faked Her Pregnancy-‘It’s Really Hurtful’
Christine, for her part, recently welcomed the arrival of her son Christian just last year. But given the fact that she had managed to return to television so quickly in the aftermath of the birth, a certain subset of people questioned whether it was possible to do this.
This was particularly, given how quick she had managed to get back into shape. Although the star was able to rely on her husband Christian Richard, the very fact of the matter is that people felt it was too good to be true.
But in an interview on the ‘Not Skinny But Not Fat’ podcast, Davina Potratz backed up Christine Quinn. She said: “Christine was absolutely pregnant. I saw her belly. She called me from the hospital the day she gave birth.
“I saw her C-section scar…She’s very lean and is blessed to have a slender body and sometimes people just bounce back very quickly “
This is very significant for the following reasons. First of all, prior to the support from Davina, it was suggested that Christine was simply doing this in order to increase publicity.
And by doing so, it set an unrealistic expectation for other women to follow who may have been going through pregnancies too. Secondly, which is probably much more important than the first, Davina’s account also backs up another Selling Sunset star.
Maya Vander had also confirmed that Christine was pregnant, which put beyond any doubt that it was genuine especially since cast members would be in the know. That is why Davina felt that these accusations were out of order.
Davina added: “That’s not fair. It’s really hurtful. She was really hurt about that… She really did give birth to her son and that’s f—– up.” It is clear that with time this story will die down, especially when Christine’s son starts to grow up.
But looking ahead to the future, if she does decide to have another child, then it is probably wise that she keeps it under wraps by not posting many things on social media in case a similar reaction follows.
