America’s Got Talent star Nightbirde, whose real name is Jane Marczewski, has died while undergoing treatment for cancer which she has been dealing with for about 5 years. The 31-year-old singer became popular when she appeared on the Reality TV Series America’s Got Talent in 2021. She was appreciated by a lot of fans when she sang an original song that said “it’s OK” despite all she was going through in her fight against cancer.

Unfortunately, she was forced to pull out of the show when her cancer got worse. She made an announcement on her Instagram page to state that she could no longer continue with AGT. She stated that the platform had been an honor and “a dream come through.”

She continued to say, “Since my audition, my health has taken a turn for the worse and the fight with cancer is demanding all of my energy and attention. I am so sad to announce that I won’t be able to continue forward on this season of AGT. Life doesn’t always give breaks to those that deserve it—but we knew that already.”
Jane was initially diagnosed with breast cancer by doctors in 2017 before it spread to her lungs, spine and liver. She was told she had 3 months to live, but she lived 3 years.
During her audition for America’s Got Talent, one statement that caught a lot of attention from the audience, asides her very motivating song was when she said that although the Doctors said she had just a 2 percent chance of survival, “two percent is not zero percent.” Her song, “it’s OK” which she sang about her health has about 39million views on YouTube.
Terry Crews-America’s Got Talent Host confirmed the news of Nightbirde’s death when he paid tribute to the 31-year-old singer. “We are saddened to learn about @nightbirde’s passing. Our condolences goes to her closest family & friends in such of this difficult time. We love you, Nightbirde.”
