Sam Williams, who happens to be the son of American singer Hank Williams Jr, has spoken out against his father and half-sister on the grounds that they have too much control over him.
Singer Sam Williams ‘Wants Out’ After Another Conservatorship Battle After Britney Could Emerge
Sam apparently claimed that his father and half-sister had placed him under a conservatorship. Therefore, he would not be allowed to make independent decisions based on financial matters, as well as anything else of significance that might have an impact on his life.
And given that Britney Spears had recently managed to get free from the clutches of her father Jamie Spears, Sam is looking to do the same. In a post to his fans on social media, Sam held a white piece of paper with the words ‘I Want Out’ written on it.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “I’ve been quiet a long time now. I want out of this, and I don’t mind people knowing.
“They took my grief process, my spirit, my money, my car, my home, and everything possible in order to ‘protect me.’ Well, I need protection from them.”
Clearly, such comments got the attention of people on social media. A significant proportion of people felt that there was an intervention needed in order to prevent something similar from happening to Sam, like what had happened to Britney.
One person wrote: “Country singer Sam Williams was allegedly unlawfully placed under a conservatorship! We beg you to please like, comment and retweet this!
“This man DOES NOT under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES deserve to be under his fathers rule. Justice & freedom are a human right!”
And that prior sentiment was confirmed by Sam, who seemed to suggest that his mental health could suffer. Although Hank is yet to respond to these claims, there is no denying that he will want to clear things up given what Sam has had to say.
Sam added: “This is a scary step but I don’t see what else to do here. I am ashamed of my family and embarrassed. I am beyond done. I have my spirit back. Get. Me. Out. Please.”
