The pair have been going very strong ever since they decided to reconcile following their initial split in 2004.
And that decision to date once again has paid dividends especially since both have experienced the harsh realities of major breakups, with Ben leaving Jennifer Garner, while Lopez did the same with Alex Rodriguez.
That is why Jennifer wants to do nothing but focus on positive memories and live her life to the fullest. In an interview on the ‘Live with Kelly and Ryan’ show, Jennifer said: “Yeah. We have plans.
“But, you know, I’m not gonna share it with you right now! … I have a surprise. I think we’ll surprise each other with something, for sure.”
Although it is understandable for Jennifer to be coy, she did give her fans a glimpse as to what she would be doing. This included none other than a potential trip to the Super Bowl.
The latter is something that she is fully aware of having performed at the event in the past. But rather than having the pressure of having to perform in front of millions around the world, this time around, Jennifer is looking to take things a little easier.
She stated: “I’m gonna watch. I think we might go to the game…That’s a very small circle. Super-small circle. Just the two of us.”
It is clear that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have managed to work out their differences that initially plagued their relationship the first time around.
By doing so, Jennifer recognised that the couple are in a much better place to deal with any obstacles that may come their way. But rather than rushing into things, she wants to take her time and not add any unnecessary pressure on herself.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “We’re older now, we’re smarter, we have more experience, we’re at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things.”
