Marrying Kate Middleton is arguably the best thing that ever happened to Prince William, second in line of succession to the throne. According to Royal author Robert Lacy in one of his recent books ‘Battle of the Brothers’, the Duke of Cambridge was resentful while growing up, with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall surprised by the level of rage displayed by him.

Lacy also revealed that William’s persistent raving as a young man made Prince Charles succumb to his wishes easily to avoid a show of fury. He said: “[William was] letting rip with no apparent inhibition in his presence,” “The rows had been earth-shattering by [Camilla’s] account, with William doing the shouting and Charles submitting meekly.”

However, Royal biographer Ingrid Seward claims that the Duke of Cambridge is now a changed man since he wedded Kate Middleton in April 2011. Seward claims that an intimate friend of the couple told her one-time: “When William is flying off the handle, it is often Kate who pulls him back. Sometimes William would let the press get to him. Kate would always be the one to say, ‘Let it go.”
Moreover, the royal biographer also claims that the Duke of Cambridge has also changed since he became a father. Talks of Prince William’s fiery temper come as a shock to many people with the highly-respected prince possessing a good public reputation.
The Duke of Cambridge married Kate Middleton in April 2011 in one of the most exquisite royal weddings of the last century. The marriage has since been blessed with three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis who are now third, fourth, and fifth in the sequence of succession respectively to the throne.
