Kirsten Dunst has not ruled out the idea of returning to the Spider Man universe to reprise her role as Mary Jane once again.

Kirsten, for her part, has become synonymous with the superhero franchise by virtue of her performance with Tobey Maguire.
And given that the latter had made a return to the franchise, during his performance on ‘Spiderman: No Way Home,’ there is a feeling that Kirsten could make a return also.
And by the looks of it, she is open to the idea of doing this. In an interview with Deadline, she said: “There’s still time. I mean, listen, no one’s asked me about anything but I do think that.
“I mean, this multi-universe just keeps going on and on. I know nothing, by the way. I feel like that’s a possibility.”
Her comments differ from what Andrew Garfield had to say in light of his shock appearance in ‘Spiderman: No Way Home.’ Throughout the build-up to the movie, the actor continuously denied the claims that he would be making a return.
So when it turned out that he appeared in the film, fans were ultimately left in shock. But for Kirsten, she had made it absolutely clear that she would consider the possibility if the circumstances were right.
In a prior interview with Variety, she remarked: “I would do it. Why not? That would be fun. I would never say no to something like that… I’d be old MJ at this point with little Spidey babies.”
The response one social media was very mixed. People were of the view that her return would not make any sense, given that there were too many characters reprising their roles.
Meanwhile, others felt that her return would allow the creators to put a new spin on the character. One person wrote: “It always confused me how people hated her personally for doing a job lol.”
There is always the possibility that Kirsten could return, and if the storyline lives up to the hype, then fans will not mind at all. So there you have it folks.
