Kyle Rittenhouse is reportedly set to sue NBA star LeBron James on the basis that the latter had defamed his character amid his murder trial.

Kyle, for his part, had been accused by LeBron for feigning his remorse which had seen him break down at the trial. While a certain subset of people saw this as a genuine sign of remorse, LeBron viewed it as anything but that.
In a statement at the time, LeBron said: “What tears????? I didn’t see one. Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court.”
Initially in response, Kyle expanded on how he would be renouncing his support for the Lakers as a result. But now he has taken it to a new level by seeking to take legal action against the basketball star, as well as other celebrities.
The people who could join LeBron on the list potentially include Whoopi Goldberg and Cenk Uygur. In an interview with Fox News, Kyle declared his intention to take action against those looking to damage his reputation.
He said: “We are looking at quite a few politicians, celebrities, athletes, Whoopi Goldberg is on the list. She called me a murderer after I was acquitted by a jury of my peers.
“She went on to still say that, and there’s others.” Kyle’s comments, naturally, caused a lot of stir on social media. A certain subset of fans believed that Kyle had taken things overboard, given that LeBron’s comments were simply his opinion.
Meanwhile, others felt that Kyle had a point given that Kyle had now been declared innocent. One person wrote: “Not only will this young man become a quadrillionaire, he’s also going to bitch slap a bunch of loser talking- heads in the process.
“Whoopi needs to lawyer up!” It will be fascinating to see how this transpires, but given everything that has happened to Kyle in the last year, he is not going to let things slide.
