That is according to a friend within Harry’s circle. It would hardly be a surprise if Harry did not see Duchess Camilla in a good light by virtue of the fact that she was involved in an affair with Prince Charles, while his father was married to Princess Diana.
And given that Queen Elizabeth II had reportedly declared that Camilla would follow the throne after Charles, that has not exactly made Harry be any fond of her.
That is why one such friend said the following: “Although tensions have eased between the two of them over the years, it was more for a show of unity than a close relationship.
“They [Harry and William] were never close with her and they still aren’t.” And this dissatisfaction with Duchess Camilla was also apparently expressed by the late Diana.
She had also spoken about the fact that her marriage to Charles was troubled by the presence of another person after she infamously stated that there were “three people ” in her marriage.
And given that this will be one of the first opportunities in his life where Harry would be able to speak frankly without worrying about what the Royal family have to say, he is bound to take up that opportunity.
The friend added: “He has got lots to say about it…He’s got a multi-million-pound book deal and he’s keeping a lot of his opinions for that…If they think that he’s gone soft, then they are mistaken.”
That is why there is a feeling that the relations between Harry and the Royals will never be the same. By not holding back, Harry risks the possibility of burning any bridges that he may have had forever.
