Matthew Rondeau has spoken out in the aftermath of his arrest on the grounds of domestic violence.

According to reports, he and Shanna Moakler had gotten into an altercation which turned physical. So much so that Shanna had apparently suffered marks on her body.
Subsequently, the authorities had gotten involved which resulted in Matthew being arrested. Although that may have been the case, reports state that he has been bailed. And now it seems that he wants to set the record straight over what happened.
In a post to his fans on Instagram, he said: “You know I’d never lay a hand on another woman. My mother is my angel and my best friend. She raised me right.
“I’m so disappointed and sad how this industry spins and flips the truth.” Regardless of whether Matthew had touched Shanna, it was clear that things were not right.
He had gone on an Instagram tirade by taking over Shanna’s account and accusing her of being unfaithful during their relationship.
Not only that, but he made it clear in no uncertain terms that he was finished with the model. In his comments, he had stated: “So, record me now because this is done. I am never talking to this f—king specimen of a human again.”
The response on social media was full of outrage. People could not believe that Matthew had tried to downplay the situation by implying that Shanna’s experience may have not been accurate.
After all, something must have happened given that there was enough for the authorities to get involved. One person wrote: “Matthew Rondeau is a domestic abuser. He was arrested for physical violence against Shanna last night.
“Unfollow him on Instagram immediately.” The best thing that Matthew and Shanna can do is focus on getting themselves in a good place. In this way, they can re-evaluate what they want from their lives going forward.
And if that means that they should go their separate ways, then so be it. After all, it is very hard to put an incident like this to one side. So there you have it folks.
