Comedian Tommy Davidson has revealed that he has not been on speaking terms with Jamie Foxx, ever since he questioned his character in his book.

During the publication of his memoir, Tommy spoke on how he viewed Jamie as a ‘mercilessly mean’ man. This was in reference to the fact that he was very competitive in trying to break into the acting industry.
So much so that Tommy felt that his behaviour had crossed the line in certain parts. This all came to a head when the duo had apparently worked on the movie “Booty Call.”
It was here where Tommy stated that Jamie “was determined to steal every scene he could.” When asked about how he views Jamie now, this is what Tommy had to say: “I haven’t actually heard from him.
“I threw some light on this because the book actually was about how my odyssey can help the reader. So I just pointed out all the situations I was in that I was able to eventually transcend.”
It is true to say that Jamie has had a far bigger career than Tommy. And if these comments are taken to be true about his ruthless nature, then it would explain why he has been able to enter into major Hollywood films such as the ‘Spiderman’ franchise, as he would be willing to do whatever it took.
The response on social media was mixed. People were of the opinion that both of them were not exactly household names in the earlier parts of their career and suggested that they could have easily gone by the wayside unless they were given a chance to prove themselves.
In this manner, Jamie had the lucky break. One person wrote: “Both Tommy Davidson & Jamie Foxx were booed off the stage at The Apollo.
“And after that they were hired by Keenen Ivory Wayans as cast members for the launch of his sketch comedy show #inlivingcolor which made them superstars.”
The two may no longer be on speaking terms, but they have managed to find successful careers in their own right that has been enough for them to stay relevant.
