Drew McIntyre has a bone to pick with Madcap Moss, after he and Happy Corbin tried to end the career of McIntyre earlier this year with a vicious backstage assault. However, this barely kept him down for a month – as McIntyre returned to the ring as part of the 2022 Royal Rumble. He took aim right at Moss & Corbin, before lasting to the end of the match – where Brock Lesnar threw him out of the ring. Tonight, he can’t worry about Lesnar however, as he has a chance to get some revenge on Moss in a falls count anywhere match.

Drew McIntyre Defeats Madcap Moss Despite The Efforts Of Happy Corbin

Corbin & Moss would double team McIntyre to start this match, before Corbin backed off despite this being a No DQ match. Moss was hit with a lariat to the outside before the headbutt. Corbin hit McIntyre before running backstage. Moss would run into a big boot from McIntyre, before a powerbomb off the stage was teased. Corbin was back again for a double suplex.

Back in the ring, Moss would be spiked on the top of his head after an Alabama Slam gone wrong. Corbin would yank him out of the ring before Claymore landed, before Moss just ran into a belly to belly suplex. McIntyre would toss Moss over the announce table, before Corbin hit McIntyre with the steel chair. He’d be driven through the barricade, but McIntyre was still able to kick out.

Back into the ring, McIntyre nailed a superplex for a near fall. Future Shock DDT would follow, before Corbin had a sword swung at him. Claymore landed, and this match was over – as McIntyre pinned Moss with a single foot on his chest.

Lita Stumbles Through Her First Singles Match In 16 Years, Becky Lynch Remains Champion

Lita has made a proper return to WWE in 2022, and after entering the 2022 Royal Rumble – she’s now challenging for the RAW Women’s Championship. She’s not had a proper singles match since Survivor Series 2006, yet is as ready as ever to step into the ring with Becky Lynch. Lynch has been dominant since returning to WWE in 2021, but has never really faced someone like the WWE Hall of Famer that she will step into the ring to face tonight.

Lynch would try to start with the DisArmHer, before Lita ran her down with a shoulder tackle. Lita would trip Lynch up before a slap to the face. The Twist of Fate was countered, with Lynch shoving Lita into the corner. We’d loudly hear Lynch call for Lita to swing at her, before easily dodging.

Lita would be stomped into the corner before a second rope leg drop got a two count. Lynch would set up a second leg drop, getting a two count before a set of Exploder Suplexes. Lita would manage to block a third suplex with a DDT before getting a two count off a crossbody. Lynch was put into a sleeper hold, and was able to fight free before rolling to the outside to avoid the moonsault.

Dis-Arm-Her was applied, before Lynch instead hit manhandle slam for a two count. Lynch went for the moonsault but missed. Twist Of Fate landed, before a Litasault landed for a near fall. Lynch hit Manhandle Slam, and ended this match.
