At AEW Revolution, The House of Black came out on top of a trios match against Death Triangle. However, they’re not a perfect trio yet – and tonight they will tune up their teamwork as they take on the odd trio of Bear Country & Fuego Del Sol. It’s a very winnable match for Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews – but they’d be wise to not overlook their opponents.
House Of Black Easily Take Their Opponents Out
After another awe inspiring entrance for House of Black, even Bear Country was looking a touch rattled. Bear Bronson started before being tripped up by Malakai. Fuego & Boulder rushed the ring, and were both taken down. He didn’t need help, but Malakai made the tag to Matthews.
Bronson was cut down to size, before tagging in King. King hit the running senton, before taking Fuego out of the sky with an elbow strike. Boulder was surrounded and ping ponged around by the strikes of House of Black. Fuego landed a few lucky blows before taking a knee strike and Matthew nailed the Whale Hunt for the win.
Keith Lee Does Not Love The Acclaimed
Keith Lee has quickly become a big deal in AEW, and he’s taken a liking to AEW Rampage. However, Team Taz view it as their show – and have taken aim at The Limitless One. Tonight they have convinced Max Caster of The Acclaimed to step up to face Lee, but have assured Caster that they will be nearby to help as needed.
Caster would keep moving to keep away from the Limitless One, before laying some kicks into Lee. The speed of Lee was shown as he leapfrogged over Caster, before Caster stopped in panic. Powerhouse Hobbs was lurking on the ramp, and Caster hit a knee to the massive back of Lee.
Caster took a massive elbow strike before a headbutt. Grizzly Magnum landed, but back in the ring Caster managed to fire back with a dropkick. Finally able to keep control, Caster would hit some crossface blows.
Lee got free and pounced on Caster, sending him across the ring. Caster would hit a superkick before trying to power Lee up onto his shoulders and failing. Lee showed him how it’s done with Big Bang Catastrophe for the win.
After the match, Lee would trade blows with Hobbs & Stark – and The Acclaimed out get in with the boombox as well. Helping Lee into the ring, finally someone would make the save – as Swerve Strickland hit the ring.
