Britney Spears has credited the HBO series “Euphoria” for helping to keep her in a good place.
Britney Spears Credits HBO Series “Euphoria” For Keeping Her Anxiety Under Control-‘It Put A HUGE Grin On My Face’
The singer has been through a lot of late, as a result of finally being removed from her conservatorship that had plagued her life for over a decade.
And her comments were part of the wider Mental Awareness Week, which is something that Britney holds close to her heart as shown by everything that she has been through.
And yet, the show was probably the last thing you expected Britney to praise, given the themes that are explored within it. Zendaya’s lead character, Rue, struggles with substance abuse issues and an identity crisis.
But for Britney, the show’s twists and tails were something that was keeping her on the edge of her seat. In a post to her fans on Instagram, she said: “Watching this and being entertained by these crazy plots I suddenly felt all my anxiety go away.
“The show was like meditation. It put a HUGE grin on my face.” But it is not just TV shows that have had an impact on Britney overcoming her anxiety.
She also recently admitted that nail art was allowing her to feel calm and collected. So much so that she decided to show off her hands to her fanbase.
In the picture here, we can see that she has done various designs using nail varnish on her fingers. The post was captioned by the following comments: “I have social anxiety but like the worst kind where it’s unbearable.
“But holy s–t there’s hope! I looked at my hands, saw these charms and I exploded with conversation … not scared at all to talk.”
As long as Britney keeps herself in the right frame of mind, then how she goes about doing such a thing, is irrelevant. She is in a good place in her personal and professional life too.
And hopefully going forward, she can continue to fight her demons. So there you have it folks. What did you think about all of this? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
