She said, “I find it quite amusing when people assume that all women, everywhere, want to be a mother, because it’s really complicated.” The celebrity partners had agreed to try to have a child in 2019 but after failed attempts, Chloe reveals that she became worried.
She continued, “We picked up the pace in terms of trying and that nervousness turned into utter fear. Like, Hang on, I don’t want this option taken away from me. I woke up in the middle of the night and it hit me like a ton of bricks. And that pushed me into making a decision and that I absolutely wanted to have a family.”
Chloe also claimed that she believes that it is very fortunate not to need IVF for child-bearing but also revealed that she had to endure ‘a really sad few months’ after she feared she would not have a child. James added that though he was ready to raise a child, he was not as pressured as his wife to get one immediately.
He said, “I don’t have that same clock ticking, or society’s perception of that clock. ‘But does [having children] define me? No. I think people who try to have children to make their life better are almost on a path to failure, as it shouldn’t define you.” In a recent Instagram post, Chloe shared a photo of her rising baby bump that disclosed she is already carrying a baby of about 6 months.
