The couple’s relationship has been going from strength to strength ever since they decided to get married in 2019.
This occurred after a year of dating which was then accompanied by another significant moment in their lives, as they welcomed their daughter a year later.
Not only that, but Jodie broke tradition by being the person who made the proposal to get married to Joshua as opposed to it being the other way around. It is not surprising, then, that these latest series of pictures were pushing the boundaries.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Jodies shared pictures of herself being naked. In one of them, she is standing with Joshua on a balcony. He has his hand on her butt, as she looks at him with her tongue stuck out.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “The cat that got the cream.” The reaction to the pictures was very mixed. One the one hand, Joshua was very happy at being able to become intimate with his wife.
So much so that he let her know just how lucky he was to be with her. And he did not hide his satisfaction over who gained the most benefit from this photo.
In his response to her pictures, he remarked: “You’re talking about me right? I’m the cat that got the cream…because…wow.” Nevertheless, the response on social media was anything but positive.
A significant proportion of people felt that these pictures lacked grace and class. Meanwhile, others simply could not comprehend why someone would want to share naked photos of themselves.
One person wrote: “Jodie Turner-Smith being naked next to her zaddy is a disgrace to all black women across the board and it’s borderline offensive and distasteful TOO.”
