John Cena Feels Max Caster Is A Better Version Of His Rapper Gimmick
During an interview with Forbes, John Cena would take a moment to praise one of the rising stars in WWE’s main competitor – AEW. This is none other than Max Caster of The Acclaimed, who has drawn comparisons to an early gimmick of John Cena. Cena was not the first to have a rap gimmick in professional wrestler, but he recognizes that Caster is leagues above what he was able to do on TV.
“I wish him all the best of luck, but I can’t give him any advice because he’s punching far above my weight class. He is very gifted. He’s gifted enough to rhyme to the beat live, where I kind of did my stuff a cappella to let the punchlines sink in.
Hip-hop constantly evolves, and it constantly moves forward, and he is the better version of what I did. He’s really, really spectacular. As long as he keeps everything in realistic perspective, he shows great potential.”
Max Caster Has His Biggest Match To Date Tonight On AEW Dynamite
Tonight on AEW Dynamite, Max Caster is set to wrestle one of John Cena’s greatest rivals in CM Punk. This is the biggest singles match to date for Caster, generally working tag team matches alongside Anthony Bowens. Having a good match with CM Punk is easy, but having a great match could really elevate Caster to new heights.
