Kaitlyn Bristowe has opened up on her disappointment at not being able to host ‘The Bachelorette’ going forward.
Kaitlyn Bristowe Is Disappointed At Not Being Able To Host The Show-‘I’m Not Coming Back’
The star had been drafted in as a replacement for Chris Harrison in the aftermath of his highly-publicised departure following the Rachael Kirkconnell scandal.
She had been hosting alongside none other than Tayshia Adams, who has had her own issues to deal with given her split from Zac Clark.
Although the show has moved on by bringing in Jesse Palmer in order to become a permanent host, it has left Kaitlyn disappointed knowing that there was a huge opportunity in front of her.
In her comments on the “Off the Vine” podcast, she said: “I saw at the end of the [‘Bachelor’ Season 26] finale that Jesse was announcing the two ‘Bachelorettes,’ and he said he was going to be by their side for that.
“So I guess, spoiler alert: I’m not coming back.” Nevertheless, Kaitlyn does not have any ill-will towards Jessie. After all, she has achieved a lot in her short space on the franchise.
She managed to host it for two seasons and played an integral part in keeping the show together, given there were rumours over whether or not it would be able to continue following Chris’ departure.
Not only that, but she has had other successes. She appeared on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ which also increased her fan base. That is why she has given her blessing to Jessie.
She added: “He’ll be a great host and I hope he helped Gabby and Rachel [the two new leads] in any way that he can. It’s been a wild year, and I’m coming off filming two ‘Bachelorette’ seasons.”
It is not all doom and gloom, however. Kaitlyn will have the opportunity to spend more time with her fiancé Jason Tartick.
And this is something that she is hoping to take advantage of given that the hectic schedule on The Bachelorette prevented her from doing so in the past.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “I also do want to prioritize being at home with Jason and the boys [our dogs] and start planning my wedding and catch up on my businesses.”
