The Duke of Sussex reportedly mixed with several locals at the event and exchanged pleasantries with even people that he did not know. Oooooh, just hanging out behind the bucking chutes at the Stockyards Championship Rodeo!! Loooove it!! Thank you for the visit!!” Nevertheless, Cindy’s post on Instagram did not provide full clues of the activities of the Duke during the event. According to some eyewitnesses, Prince Harry joined the multitudes of people gathered at the event to watch the bull races.
The Melton Bull Company even shared a photo of Harry with an accompanying caption that read “Prince Harry hanging out at the rodeo this week. We get a lot of rodeo royalty but this is the first Prince I’ve seen” “Said he was going to enter the bull riding but the airline lost his rigging bag…”
Despite the large crowd at the event, people still found a way to abuse the Prince on social media proving that he is gradually becoming an unpopular figure in both the United States and in the UK. One source claimed that many people that showed up for the event didn’t recognize him or care.”
Some sources further criticized the Duke by claiming that his presence at the event was “shocking”. They reproached Prince Harry for displaying a “lack of respect” by showing up at the event even though his spouse Meghan is an advocate for animal rights.
