Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have developed an ‘us against the world’ approach to life.
Royal Expert Outlines Harry And Meghan’s Unity-‘It’s Harry And Meghan Against The World’
That is according to Royal expert Nigel Cawthorne. These comments arrive on the back end of the view that both were disillusioned with life in the Royal family.
And given that they found so much common ground during a period of turbulence, which ultimately resulted in them leaving the Royal family in 2020, that struggle has only gone on to unite them even more.
This was seen in their Oprah Winfrey interview during which Harry supported his wife in the aftermath of her coming clean about having suicidal thoughts, while being in the Royal family.
In an interview with OK magazine, Nigel said: “It’s Harry and Meghan against the world, or them against the British establishment. But when couples go through a shared problem, it does tend to make them stronger.”
But it was not just the struggles that defined the couple. They made the decision to remove themselves completely by moving abroad to California.
Not only that, they decided to start a family having raised 2 children in the process. These major milestones could not have taken place unless they were committed to each other and willing to alienate others in the process.
Katie Nicholl, who also happens to be a Royal expert, told the same magazine the following: “As Harry said, they are in it together, as a team.
“When you think about what they’ve turned their backs on, what they’ve given up and particularly the sacrifices Harry has made, it’s just as well they’re such a strong unit because they’ve only really got each other.”
Despite the unity they have shown, there is always the possibility that things could go wrong. In the event that this does happen, Harry’s poor relations with the Royal family could come back to haunt him.
After all, Prince Harry would have no choice but to return which would involve eating an element of humble pie. So there you have it folks. What did you think about all of this? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
