Seth Rogen has once again called out his mother, Sandy’s antics on social media, but this time, she was trying to help.
Seth Rogen’s Mother Tried To Get A Studio To Back His New Project-‘Yes, She Did’
The comedian/actor opened up on how his mother was trying to help his latest movie project. And as part of that process, she had apparently tried to get some studios to back Seth’s vision.
The actor did not mention which project this referred to, but there is no denying that he does have some major films in the pipeline including none other than the Super Mario Bros. film set to be released in December.
In a post to his fans on Twitter, Seth said: “Did my mother just email the head of a major movie studio to get them to hurry up and green light our movie? Yes. Yes she did.”
This is not the first time that Seth’s mother has been involved in creating some noise on social media. Just recently, she had opened up about her sex life which did not go down very well with Seth.
So much so that the comedian demanded that people ‘burn this app,’ as in Twitter, for the embarrassment it had caused him.
In a statement at the time, Sandy had stated: “You know how when you give blood you get a little badge that says,” I gave blood today”, well there should be one that says” I had great sex today”. Ha ha ha …”
The response on social media was one of laughter. Although people recognized that Seth’s mother was only trying to help, they could not resist but make some jokes in that regard.
One person wrote: “Hey @Sethrogen I need some good audition as spring approaches here in #Toronto ..if she has any spare time could she call some casting directors for me ?”
Time will tell whether Sandy’s intervention does actually lead to anything, but in reality, Seth’s name is big enough in and of itself. With that being said, it will be fascinating to see what happens with his project.
