Wendy Williams has shockingly claimed she will be making a return to her show, despite it recently being announced that she was replaced by Sherri Shepherd.
Wendy Williams Vows To Come Back To Her Show Despite Being Replaced By Sherri Shepherd
According to reports, Wendy’s show is set to come to an end this June after the producers felt that it was time for a fresh start.
This was in light of the fact that Wendy had been struggling with health issues, as well as financial problems which resulted in her taking action against Wells Fargo on the basis that the latter had prevented her from accessing her funds without a guardian.
Although she has managed to overcome those problems, her latest statement is strange given that her comments about a return came out of nowhere. In an official statement, she said: “This is what I would to say to my Wendy Watchers.
“Keep watching because I’m going to be back on the ‘Wendy Show’ bigger and brighter than ever.” Nevertheless, Wendy’s comments have to be taken with a pinch of salt for the following reasons.
First of all, outside of an alternative explanation, there is always the possibility that she could make a return to the show but only on the basis of being a guest.
This is something that Sherri has hinted that she would be comfortable doing on previous occasions. Secondly, just because Wendy has expressed her desire for a return, the same cannot be said when it comes to the producers of the show.
Howard Bragman, who happens to be a representative for Wendy, previously commented the following: “You can’t go to the marketplace and sell a show that’s the ‘Maybe Wendy Show.
“She understands why this decision was made from a business point of view.” The response on social media was not very kind towards this possibility.
People felt that Wendy had her time, but the show needed to be revamped. One person wrote: “We don’t want this.” Time will tell what Wendy does end up doing, but as long as she is happy, then that is the most important thing going forward. So there you have it folks.
