We’re moving one step closer to WrestleMania and tonight should be an entertaining one with Roman Reigns dealing with the aftermath of Brock Lesnar‘s attack last week, and more!
We’ll be set to get WWE Smackdown Live Results into gear at the 8 p.m. EST showtime, so grab plenty of snacks and settle in for the ride.
Segment 1
Brock Lesnar can’t touch Roman Reigns unless he’s provoked, so he made himself comfortable in Reigns’ locker room to wait for him and make Reigns provoke him.
Segment 2
Shinsuke Nakamura w/Rick Boogs vs. Jimmy Uso w/Jey Uso
They started it off with a slow grind by Jimmy with a wrist lock, but the pace picked up and Nakamura caught him with a knee on the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
Boogs took out Jey on the floor by driving him into the ring post and Nakamura hit a Kinsasha on Jimmy for the pinfall win.
Segment 4
The WWE officially announced on TV Shad Gaspard will be honored with the Warrior Award on WrestleMania weekend.
Segment 5
Ridge Holland w/Sheamus and Butch vs. Kofi Kingston
In a bait and switch for shock value, Kofi said Ridge wasn’t facing him when they said New Day (no one did), and Woods came out for his return from injury.
Woods one with a rollup after Ridge floated following a shoulder block to Wood’s thigh.
Segment 6
Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair exchanged words with Ronda in the ring and Flair on the titantron. Ronda told her if Flair wins it’ll be a moment, but when she wins it’ll just be another day.
Segment 7
Intercontinental Championship Contenders Match – Ricochet (c) vs. Humberto w/Angel
Michael Cole said he thought Angel and Humberto decided to switch during the commercial break after introductions, and Angel faced Ricochet instead.
Angel won with a roll up after Humberto distracted Ricochet, and Ricochet challenged Humberto after the match.
Intercontinental Championship Contenders Match – Ricochet vs. Humberto w/Angel
The match started fast with Ricochet sending Humberto to the floor with a dropkick and hitting a swanton flip over the ropes as we headed to commercial.
Segment 8
Ricochet rolled Humberto into the ring after hitting a tornado DDT, but Angel held onto his leg from under the ring for a count out loss.
Guess we’re looking at a triple threat to trigger the Los Lotharios to break up.
Segment 9
Fatal Four Way – Sasha Banks w/Naomi vs. Rhea Ripley w/Liv Morgan vs. Queen Zelina w/Carmella vs. Shayna Baszler w/Natalya
After the heels ducked out to start off the match, Zelina pulled Banks to the floor and bounced her into the announce desk, and that triggered a eight women brawl as we headed to commercial.
Segment 10
Following a spot fest, Banks won with a Bank Statement on Zelina.
Segment 11
Reigns headed to the ring as Lesnar knocked the windows out of Reigns’ ride with a pick axe and headed to the ring. Lesnar then took out a bunch of security people with a steel chair and laughed at Reigns as Reigns retreated.
This was a cool ending but one we’ve seen a couple of times now and the switching of matches after they were introduced was annoying and felt hollow. Woods definitely deserved a better return and match than he had.
