Darby Allin is ready to put his issues with Andrade El Idolo to bed – and what better way to do just that, than by bringing out his signature match. Andrade El Idolo tonight will have to shut Darby Allin into a casket if he wants to win, something that is very hard to accomplish. There’s no DQ’s, pinfalls or submissions to be found in this one – just one helluva fight.
Sting Steals The Show – And He’s Not Even In The Match!
The Blade would look to help Andrade to start this match – but was warded off with the skateboard. Andrade would be beaten down with the skateboard, before Marc Quen of Private Party would help out. Allin would look for a comeback on the apron, only to be thrown through the barricade.
He’d take the skateboard off the head, before a fan with a Sting mask would be Sting himself! Sting would run off Blade & Quen, making this one more even when it comes to the numbers advantage. He’s a legend for a reason, and two on one is fine by his books.
Allin would shove Andrade into some plexiglass – as Sting took a chair shot and was just offended. He would follow up by tossing Quen off a platform, before diving onto Andrade, Quen & Blade out of the crowd. For someone not in the match, Sting has been stealing all the spotlight, but the crowd loves it.
Darby Allin Wins Another Brutal Coffin Match
Andrade would toss Allin back to the ringside arena, and bring a steel chair into the ring. It’d be propped up in the corner – and Allin was thrown head first into the chair. Andrade wouldn’t try to end this match, instead wanting some more damage.
Another steel chair was grabbed – before Andrade wanted a double knee strike. Allin would avoid this and nail the Code Red. A coffin drop to the outside would be caught into a German Suplex, before taking this to the coffin.
The lid of the Coffin was covered in thumbtacks, and Allin pressed his arm against it to prevent the loss. Andrade would lift Allin out of the coffin with a suplex, before looking for one onto the steel grates – tossing Allin onto it like a sack of potatoes.
Andrade tried to pull the lid off the coffin – but failed to do so. However, a powerslam off the apron into the coffin was an option. Allin blocked with a stunner, before hitting a dive sending both men into the coffin. Andrade would nearly be closed in – but Jose made the save. He’d be dropped onto the tacks, before the lid was closed on this match – and this amazing episode of AEW Dynamite!
