Adam Cole needs the Undisputed Elite to get on the same page – as The Young Bucks & reDRagon can’t seem to get along. Without the Young Bucks, this faction simply is not deemed as Elite. Tonight, they will all hit the ring for a ten man tag team match – taking on Dante Martin, Lee Johnson, Brock Anderson, and the Varsity Blondes.
Rey Fenix Is BACK!
Before this match, House Of Black would take down Fuego Del Sol once again, only to be interrupted by Alex Abrahantes in the ring. He’d reveal that he was dressing in a cloak for weeks to get a chance to ambush them.
Penta Oscuro would hit the ramp – followed by PAC… and Alex Abrahantes. In the ring was the returning Rey Fenix – meaning Death Triangle is whole once again! Together they would take down Buddy Matthews, Brody King & Malakai Black.
We’d also get a match announced for AEW Rampage – with Swerve Strickland set to take on Darby Allin. The winner will join Dax Harwood, Samoa Joe, Kyle O’Reilly, and Adam Cole in the Owen Hart Memorial Cup.
The Undisputed Elite Claim The Ten Man Tag Team Victory
Dante Martin would start the match for his unit, and was able to take down Matt Jackson & Kyle O’Reilly. Varsity Blondes hit the ring but was taken down by The Young Bucks. Brock Anderson ran them down with a big double lariat before Lee Johnson helped to clear the ring – as Undisputed Elite would have an argument.
Bobby Fish would try to isolate Brock Anderson, with reDRagon identifying him as the weak link of the team. Anderson would break free and make the tag to Johnson, who ran into a double superkick. Brian Pillman Jr. was dropped with Chasing The Dragon – before everyone was taken off the aprons.
Nick hit a PK off the apron, sprung into the ring for a facebuster on Johnson – before a moonsault to the floor. Matt Jackson hit the wrecking ball dropkick, before Nick dove to the outside. Adam Cole hit the ring, and dropped The Boom. The Undisputed Elite got on the same page for this match, and it paid off in a huge way.
