Jade Cargill is no longer riding solo in AEW, having buddied up with Red Velvet & Kiera Hogan. Tonight, they compete as a trio for the first time, as they take on the team of Willow Nightingale, Skye Blue, and Trish Adora. Adora in particular is a hot prospect in indy wrestling, being one of the hardest hitters in the game today.
The Baddies Make Their Trio’s Debut In Style
Cargill would start this match alongside Skye Blue, but would quickly tag to Red Velvet. Velvet hit a wild blow to Nightingale on the apron, the lady she defeated to get a spot in the Owen Hart Memorial Cup. In The Baddies corner, Hogan would hit a dropkick, before taking a superkick to the face.
Velvet made the save, before Nightingale would hit her with a pounce. Hogan would nail a roundhouse kick before Adora made the tag – being tripped up and hit with a leg drop. Cargill hit the ring once again and levelled Adora with the pump kick. Adora was off her game tonight and would be dropped hard with Jaded for the victory.
This win puts Cargill up to 31-0, remaining undefeated in AEW. Tag team, singles, triple threats or trios action? Doesn’t matter. Cargill remains unstoppable.
Keith Lee Gets Pushed Hard By The Gunn Club
Keith Lee has been on fire since joining AEW, but a recent feud with Team Taz has really taken most of his time. Tonight, he will step away from Team Taz to take on Colton Gunn in singles action – but AEW Rampage always has Taz looming on commentary, so Lee will not be lowering his guard.
Lee would shove Gunn into the corner to start this match, shocked when Gunn would look to stand toe to toe with him. A forearm blow to face would just anger Lee, who responded with the Grizzly Magnum chop in the corner. The second would be narrowly avoided, but a snake eyes into the corner would get the stun,
Austin Gunn ran a distraction and hit a hotshot over the top rope, allowing Colton to hit a dropkick. Lee would toss Austin aside on the outside, but Colton was able to get the upper hand. However, Keith Lee would bide his time, and find the opening on Gunn.
He caught him by the face and slammed him down before some shoulder tackles and a massive biel toss across the ring. Lee got the wrong Gunn in the corner before planting Colton down with the Big Bang Catastrophe for the victory.
