“I am undeterred from being with the Ukrainian people. This is a loud call for the urgent opening up of humanitarian corridors to enable the evacuation of civilians. I am calling for the delivery of humanitarian relief to all those in need, particularly children. Also, I want to see an end to the attacks on civilians. I want to see the laws of war respected.” – Jolie says.
“Like many of you, I’m praying for the people in Ukraine. My focus is to make sure that the authorities will do everything to ensure the protection and basic human rights. As well as for the refugees in the region. We have already seen reports of casualties and people starting to flee their homes to seek safety. It is too soon to know what will happen. However, we cannot overstate the significance of this moment.” – She adds.
