Angelina Jolie has continued her humanitarian work after confirming that she had landed in Yemen.

The Hollywood actress recently spoke out against the plight of the Ukrainian people amid the Russian attack on the country. Much in the same way, she is hoping to provide some much-needed help to the refugees that have suffered in Yemen.
And this is all part of her work in which she has been collaborating with the United Nations Refugee Agency. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Angelina shared the suffering of the Yemini people as a way to remember all those who had been forgotten.
She said: “I’ve landed in Aden, to meet displaced families and refugees for UNHCR @refugees and show my support for the people of Yemen.
“I’m here in Yemen to support people who also desperately need peace. The situation here is one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.”
In the process of speaking out on this issue, Angelina sought to draw parallels between what has been going on in Yemen, as well as Ukraine.
While the latter conflict has received a lot of media coverage, there is a feeling that the same has not been done when it comes to Yemen.
And this is something that Angelina wants to address by calling on everybody to help anyone going through suffering. She added: “The lives of civilian victims of conflict everywhere are of equal value.
“After seven years of war, the people of Yemen also need protection, support, and above all, peace.” People praised the actress for the efforts that she was undertaking.
After all, there was no obligation on her to do any of this given the comfortable lifestyle that she has. But by going out of her way, it demonstrated a person that was very sincere.
