While Josh Duggar sits behind bars, Anna Duggar is finally being seen out and about. Redditor Snarkers found her enjoying the festivities at a vow renewal.
Anna Duggar Reemerges at Vow Renewal
After her husband Josh was convicted on child pornography charges in December 2021, Anna Duggar pretty much faded from the public eye for a period. In photos of the Duggar family’s celebrations, she wasn’t been seen much.
The last notable update on the 33-year-old mother of seven was when she took to social media and posted “There is more to the story: (See link in Bio)”. While one of the links didn’t work, the link leads to a motion for acquittal. Posted on Thursday, February 3, it is the last update on her Instagram.
Observers noticed others in the Duggar family didn’t react or comment on the posts. It was generally viewed as the rest of the family distancing themselves not from Anna specifically but the Josh situation in general and trying to get back to normalcy after the trial’s outcome.
Prior to that, her call logs with Josh were revealed and showed that she was spending quite a bit per minute talking with him.
Now, it seems as if Anna Duggar is taking steps towards rejoining the world of the living. Her sister-in-laws were in attendance at the vow renewal and it was pretty much the best event for her to get back out.
Even with the photos being posted, it was a private gathering with friends and family that wouldn’t exactly draw heat towards the family for her being present.
Of course, there were commenters who were annoyed or disgusted that she attempting to get back into the world because of her support of her husband. Meanwhile, others roasted her choice of dress for the event with one drawing comparisons to it being something that would be worn in The Golden Girls.
At the moment, Anna is staying with the Duggars with her and Josh’s seven kids. Josh Duggar will be sentenced on Friday, May 25.
