The production for the film “Being Mortal” has been stopped after a complaint was filed against the film’s star Bill Murray.
Filming For ‘Being Mortal’ Stops After Bill Murray Accused Of Inappropriate Behaviour
According to reports, a decision was made to pause the movie after Bill was accused of engaging in inappropriate behavior. Subsequently, an investigation is being held in order to determine whether or not Bill is going to be liable.
As of now, there is nothing new in that way. However, the movie’s director Aziz Ansari is cooperating with the authorities to get to the bottom of this. With that being said, the release date for the movie could be in doubt as it was set to be released in 2023.
And yet, there is something much more important at play here. This is not the first time that Bill has been accused of engaging in inappropriate behavior.
Just last year, actress Lucy Liu opened up on an account that she had with Bill on the set of Charlie’s Angels. And it was during the course of a rehearsal that things got out of hand, with Bill using some very colorful language indeed.
In an interview on the “Asian Enough” podcast, Lucy said: “It was unjust and it was uncalled for. Some of the language was inexcusable and unacceptable, and I was not going to just sit there and take it.
“So, yes, I stood up for myself, and I don’t regret it.” The reaction on social media by the public was brutal.
People blasted Bill and were of the view that something had to be done as a result of his behaviour that he had exhibited with many people throughout the years.
One person wrote: “I never understood how some folks worship him. He always seemed kind of like a *ick to me.” The only thing left to do is let the authorities conduct an investigation and rule on the matter.
We will have to see how this will play out. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
