Right now, FTR are arguably the greatest tag team in the world. Following two massive wins – first defeating The Briscoes to claim the ROH World Tag Team Championships and a successful defence against The Young Bucks. Their face turn has been a massive success, and they have one idea that could truly take them to the next level. They want the legendary Bret ‘Hit Man’ Hart as their manager, and their wish will come true very soon.
Bret Hart To Manage FTR For Indy Event
After weeks of hyping up potentially netting Bret Hart as their manager, FTR have finally got him on board. At an upcoming Big Time Wrestling event, Hart will be in their corner for a tag team match against Brian Pillman Jr. and Brock Anderson. This will be the first time FTR have had a manager since firing Tully Blanchard over a month ago – as Tully was keeping FTR away from title shots.
This all goes down on June 10th in Webster, Ma. Pillman & Brock will have Arn Anderson in their corner. Right now, Bret Hart doesn’t show up often on shows – making this a special occasion for sure.
Will This Make It’s Way To AEW Programming?
There is a good chance that if this all goes well, this act can make it’s way to AEW programming. They love to bring in legends, and Bret Hart is one of the most universally beloved names in the industry. Adding him to the act of FTR could only serve to improve them, with Hart being a legendary tag team specialist.
Hart has previously shown up on AEW programming, showing up at Double or Nothing 2019 to unveil the AEW World Heavyweight Championship – before trading words with MJF. His AEW theme song can be heard here.
