In January, it was confirmed that singer Rihanna was expecting her first child with A$AP Rocky. As a matter of fact, the two were photographed strolling happily through Brooklyn. During that time, it appears that rumors are simmering that there’s been some cheating going down.
Fashion Writer Louis Pisana Apologizes for Rihanna-A$AP Rocky Break-Up Rumor
Fashion writer Louis Pisana claimed that A$AP Rocky and Rihanna had broken up in a now-deleted tweet. Social media sleuths and those will a quick print screen game nabbed the tweet which said the following:
“Rihanna & ASAP Rocky have split. Rihanna broke up with him after she caught him cheating with shoe designer Amina Muaddi.”
Pisana would go on to explain that Amina Muaddi and Rocky collaborated on a shoe collection previously and that the designer worked with Rihanna on Fenty’s footwear line. As expected, claims of the contrary came out quickly. Those close to the couple told Page Six “They’re fine. It’s not true.”
Witnesses to Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s outings in West Hollywood reported that the couple seemed fine and there was no heat between them from their observations. The unfounded rumor was enough that Amina Muaddi addressed them as well.
In an Instagram post, Muaddi wrote:
“I initially assumed that this fake gossip – fabricated with such malicious intent – would not be taken seriously. According to Muaddi, she decided to address the rumours after being reminded over the last 24 hours “that we live in a society that is so quick to speak on topics regardless of factual basis and that nothing is off limits”.
The rest of her statement can be read above. As for Pisana, he would delete the original tweet and apologize for putting the unfounded rumor out there via “reckless tweets”:

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky began dating in 2020 after Rihanna split from businessman Hasaan Jameel. Rocky confirmed their relationship in May 2021. The couple wouldn’t go public until November of that year. Their first child together was announced on Monday, January 31 of this year.
