Royal author, Tina Brown has disclosed that she thinks the royal family needs Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and will consider all options to lure them back. Much has been made of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s resignations from royal roles. And while some royal experts insist that the royal family is better off without the couple, Ms. Brown thinks otherwise and maintains that the royal family will do everything within its power to reunite with the estranged family.
She said, “I think that Harry is going to want to come back when the Queen dies to serve his country. And I think they will find a way to reel him in.” She further claimed that the royal family would push to achieve the reunion by giving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the roles of “commuter royals.”
The Duke And Duchess Of Sussex Return To The UK
A few weeks ago, the Sussexes shocked everyone when they landed in the UK to briefly meet the Monarch before departing for the Invictus Games in Netherlands. Reacting to the visit, Ms. Brown believes that the Sussexes’ shocking visit was simply a foreshadowing of events to come.
The Sussexes Could Have A Commuter Arrangement In The Royal Family After Their Controversial Exit From The Buckingham Palace
She said, “It’s a sign of a cautious rapprochement, and I actually think that when the queen dies, I would not be at all surprised if some kind of new charter, as it were, with Harry is drawn up, because I think they’re going to feel they do need Harry in some way. And he might get a bit more of what he wanted.” She added, “I mean, he could be a kind of commuter royal, I guess.
The problem is the money piece. You know, they wanted to make money. And the big tension there was conflict of interest. I mean, how do you work that?” However, Ms. Brown suggested that Meghan could be the only person who could stop the potential family reunion because she did not like England.
Meanwhile, it is understood that the Harry and Meghan will likely show up for the platinum celebrations. According to reports, Prince Harry had a change of heart after Buckingham Palace reportedly established that the couple will receive police protection at all the Jubilee events in June.
