Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have been seen out and about after Rocky was arrested Wednesday, April 20. The arrest came as part of an investigation into a Los Angeles shooting in November 2021. The ICE agency assisted in the arrest at LAX.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Enjoy Evening Out Following Rocky’s Arrest
A$AP Rocky and Rihanna stepped out on Saturday, April 23 for what one observer called a “happy and relaxed” dinner in Santa Monica. The source told People:
“It was a happy and relaxed group. Rihanna looked great. She sat next to A$AP and they were affectionate. They dined for a couple of hours. The focus was very much on Rihanna and the baby.”
So, just a happy outing with close friends. It’s a jarring highlight to an April that has been anything but happy. Earlier in the month, A$AP Rocky and Rihanna’s relationship was declared over in a rumor with no weight behind it.
The perpetrator of the rumor—fashion writer Louis Pisana—would end up apologizing to Rihanna, Rocky, and fashion designer Amina Muaddi. Then we had the April 20 arrest of A$AP Rocky. The arrest came after the couple left the States to visit Barbados.
The “F**kin’ Problems” artist was given a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon. He was about to make $550,000 bail and left jail shortly after being booked.
Currently, Rihanna and Rocky are expecting their first child together. The Anti singer’s pregnancy was confirmed in January of this year after her baby bump was spotted during an outing with Rocky in Brooklyn.
