Rihanna and A$AP Rocky made a quick getaway to Barbados on the back end of false rumours that the latter had cheated on the singer.

The rumours were first made by writer Louis Pisano, who claimed that the rapper had cheated with shoe designer Amina Muaddi. Although the designer denied doing anything of the sort, the very fact of the matter is that the claims did have an impact on the couple.
In a statement at the time, Louis remarked: “Rihanna & ASAP Rocky have split. Rihanna broke up with him after she caught him cheating with shoe designer Amina Muaddi.”
And yet, things were not made any easier. A$AP Rocky was visibly behaving out of character during the launch of his whisky brand just before these rumours emerged. But in an attempt to put this to bed, a vacation was taken.
In the clip here, we can see that the pair have arrived at Grantly Adams International Airport. They are accompanied by their respective teams and are both seen making their way to a car.
On reflection, the holiday could not have come at a better time. First of all, Rihanna is currently pregnant. Therefore, the last thing that she needs is additional stress caused by the onset of unfounded rumours.
Secondly, by going back to her homeland, Rihanna has the opportunity to see her wider family and receive some much-needed support.
The fans on social media were fully behind the couple. A large proportion of people were of the view that Rihanna was expecting her baby very soon. Thus, it made sense for her to shelter herself away from the negative media scrutiny.
One person wrote: “RiRi getting ready to drop that princess/prince, my thoughts only and want to have her baby in her home. Do you RiRi!”
Hopefully, the couple can overcome the recent negative headlines. In the process of doing so, ensure that the pregnancy goes ahead without any complications.
