We need new NXT Tag Team Champions after the release of Nash Carter, one half of MSK. We will see five teams compete in a massive gauntlet match tonight – with Pretty Deadly, The Creed Brothers, Legado Del Fantasma, Jensen & Briggs, and Waller & Sanga all match up with major gold on the line.

The Creed Brothers Prove They’re Tough Customers

The Creed Brothers drew the #1 spot for this match, a position which they wanted. It means a long run for the gold, but these two thrive on competition. Legado Del Fantasma drew #2, another team capable of a deep run into the field. Brutus would start with Mendoza, before quickly being taken to the outside. Wilde made the tag and dove onto the Creed Brothers.

Julius would get the tag, but was isolated in the corner of LDF. Wilde would send Julius to the middle of the ring, before hitting a diving senton. Julius would get the ankle lock applied, before Mendoza tried to make the save and ended up in an ankle lock himself. LDF would fight free, before Mendoza would nail a springboard dropkick.

Wilde followed up with a 450 Splash, but Brutus made the save. Julius would fight back with an angle slam, before a tag team spinebuster and a big lariat. The Creed Brothers advance to the next team. Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen were out next, and would hit the ring with brawling intent as we went to a commercial break.

Briggs would kick out of a cover as we came back to live action. A massive lariat would follow, before Brutus was sandwiched with laratis and powerbombed through the announce table on the floor. Julius was alone, and was driven down with a double shoulder tackle. Brutus found his footing and got punched in the face.

Double powerbomb in the ring – and Julius somehow kicked out. Brutus was back up as Briggs & Jensen hit a double team – but was laid out with a big boot. Julius would make the tag anyways – and Brooks Jensen was taken out with a huge lariat.

Pretty Deadly Pick Up The Scraps

Grayson Waller & Sanga were next, with Waller still having his arm in a sling. Sanga would hit the ring fresh however, and nailed a big boot for a two count. Julius was thrown out of the ring, and Waller tagged in – and revealed his arm is fine as he punched Brutus out. Sanga would rain down heavy blows in the ring – with Waller jumping in only when someone was down.

He’d grab a chinlock on Brutus but was unable to keep him down. Sanga would apply a nerve hold – but was taken up into a Saito Suplex. Another big lariat – and Creed Brothers make it to the final team. Pretty Deadly (now named Kit Wilson & Elton Prince) hit the ring, and would once again beat The Creed Brothers down.

After three matches, the Creed Brothers were running on fumes. Pretty Deadly were running Tag Team Wrestling 101, making fast tags and cutting the ring in half. Wilson would hit a leg drop for a two count, before Prince hit a suplex and floated over into a hammerlock. Julius was able to hit a belly to belly suplex, and made the tag. Brutus was barely standing, but and Wilson & Prince hit a double team gutbuster for a near fall. Inside Cradle nearly got the win for Brutus, before a codebreaker from Prince. Brutus would try to hit a lariat, but was blindsided. Spilled Milk landed – and Pretty Deadly are the new NXT Tag Team Champions!

Will The Creed Brothers get a better chance at Pretty Deadly? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
