WWE WrestleMania 38 Night One Results: Stone Cold Steve Austin Wrestles First Match In 19 Years, Defeats Kevin Owens (04/02)

Kevin Owens might have made a mistake when he decided to insult Texas. He definitely made a mistake when he put Stone Cold Steve Austin’s name in his mouth. Now, Austin is ready for a WrestleMania sized edition of the Kevin Owens show – and claims that tonight he might just uncork one last can of whoop ass.

Welcome To The Kevin Owens Show!

Owens would welcome everyone to the biggest edition of the Kevin Owens show ever. He’d remind everyone that he said that if America was a body, Texas would be the ass. Upon further analysis, Owens realises he should apologise. He should apologise for telling the stone cold truth. Being in Texas made him realise it was even worse.

Fans might want Owens to bring his guest out – but things run on his terms. Owens would say that Stone Cold is the worst role model of all time, and Owens knows because he used to look up to him. When Stone Cold comes down, he will sit and listen because he respects Owens.

The glass would shatter, and the crowd of 76 thousand fans went absolutely nuts as Stone Cold hit the ramp. He’d play to the crowd for a moment, before heading to the back again. Stone Cold came out with his four wheeler, and drove that to the ring instead of walking. He’d hit the ring, and tear up the set.

Laying Down The Challenge To Stone Cold Steve Austin

Stone Cold would mock the idea that Owens called him down for a chat. He ran down Stone Cold and Texas for weeks, and expects to just have a chat? Owens asked what is so great about Texas. It’s hot as hell in the summer, flat and uninspiring, and the people are tools. If Owens grew up in Texas, he’d have just moved to Mexico – since it’s right there!

Owens would move past Stone Cold calling him an asshole, and would reveal that he’s actually looking for a fight. He’s challenging Stone Cold to a match. It’s been 19 years, and he was beat up then – and worse now, but has no excuse for running from a challenge. Owens wants a No Holds Barred match, but Stone Cold would be too much of a coward to accept. If he won’t accept, then get out of Owens ring and back to his stupid little ranch.

Stone Cold had his first match right here in Dallas, Texas, and now has a chance to have his last match in the same town. The crowd wants it, Kevin Owens wants it, and Stone Cold has one more can of whoop ass to open. He’d call for a ref, and it’s fight time. The bell would ring, and it’s official.

One Last Can Of Whoop Ass

Stone Cold would punch Owens into the corner, before stomping a mudhole into his ass. Into another corner, after getting a beer – Stone Cold would stomp Owens out once again. Owens was thrown over the top rope, Stone Cold caught another beer – before being tossed into the barricade. He’d come back with a lariat, and Owens was turned inside out.

Stone Cold was tossed into the ring post, before taking a tripod to the back. Kevin Owens pulled out a table, but he was the one sent flying through it. They’d brawl out into the crowd, where Owens nailed a suplex on the floor. Stone Cold would battle back before a knee to the midsection.

Back to the ringside area, Austin threw Owens onto the commentary table – before grabbing two beers. He’d punch Owens right in the face as the crowd counted the blows. Stone Cold was tossed into the ring, and Owens would look to flee on the four wheeler. Owens was taken for a ride up to the stage, where Stone Cold would punch him in the face and nailed a suplex of his own.

A thumb to the eye was followed by another suplex from the Rattlesnake, before being tossed down the long Wrestlemania ramp. Back in the ring, two more cold beers, before Owens would nail a stunner – and got a near fall. Owens grabbed a steel chair, but got the ropes and his own head. Stone Cold stunner lands, and this one is over – STONE COLD WINS!

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
